The hardware company Keytronic has confirmed a data breach that took place last month in a filing with the SEC. This breach resulted in a shutdown of all U.S. and Mexico operations for a period of two weeks. 500GB of stolen data from this breach was leaked online. This hack costed the company over a half a million in U.S. dollars for cybersecurity experts and other expenses.

The ransomware enterprise known as Black Basta have claimed responsibility in the attack which they allege included passports, social security cards, corporate documents, and more.
