A .txt file labeled RockYou2024 has recently been uploaded to a hacking forum by a user under the alias ObamaCare, but this isn’t just any leak, we are talking a compilation of nearly 10 billion passwords! The leak being reported by PCMag compiles both new and old data leaks, and this isn’t the first RockYou password drop, but the biggest. It is in fact being reported as the largest of its kind.
It is suggested that you use Cybernews’s Leaked Password Checker to see if you’ve been exposed. If you have, change your password immediately to a strong one, and be sure that it is not being used for other sites.
