Established in 2021, the second Tuesday of April marks Identity Management Day. This is a day of awareness to educate business leaders and the public at large on the importance of Identity Management (or IDM.) Interestingly, Nyedis was created only several months after the establishment of this day, and we have been privileged in protecting the security of various major clients since our inception. We’ve also partnered with big name companies in the space including Ping Identity and 1Kosmos. Protecting sensitive data in the current environment with a growing threat of AI being used by bad actors to exploit private information is a challenge that we take very seriously.
Through our podcast, The Nyedis Anarchy Series, we’ve been able to educate the public at large on things to look out for, and ways to protect your privacy in a time where privacy is seemingly nonexistent. In the past year, we reported on one of the biggest breaches to ever take place, with hackers gaining access to MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, costing the conglomerate over $110 million according to some estimates. Our CIO Adam Callen even appeared on Fox affiliate WFXR to breakdown what took place, and what citizens can do to protect themselves from hackers looking to gain access to their own data.
While sitting down with our CIO Adam Callen in discussing the importance of this day he commented that, “Identity management is the gate keeper for every institution’s most sensitive data on the planet. This makes the work highly valuable and rewarding at the same time.” Nyedis has a team of programmers ready to tackle any challenges in this ever-changing space. To stay up on the latest happenings in the Identity Management field, subscribe to our podcast where we interview leaders in IDM including recent featured guests like Eve Maler (the former ForgeRock CTO) and 1Kosmos co-founder and CSO Michael Engle.
