Yesterday, we wrote about a major breach of the conglomerate Live Nation/Ticketmaster involving information being stolen from millions of users and sold on the dark web for $500K. We are now learning that customers whose personal information was compromised in this breach are taking action and suing the retailer.

California residents Cynthia Ryan and Rosalia Garcia have filed a lawsuit against Live Nation/Ticketmaster for failing to properly secure thier private information. In addition to the PPIs listed yesterday including physical addresses and phone numbers, the lawsuit alleges that the last four digits of card numbers and expiration dates were also accessed. They add that the breach led to out-of-pocket expenses for customers, emotional distress, and potential future damages in relation to the leak.
